Gold Awarded to Vanuatu’s 83 Islands Distillery

This is truly a cause for celebration.

83 Islands Distillery achieved Gold Status for their new range of gift cartons at the recent NZ Pride in Print Awards.

Pride in Print is one of the most keenly contested competitions in the New Zealand printing industry, and having an entrant from Vanuatu is a remarkable achievement in its own right.

The entry from 83 Islands is a proud statement to the world that exceptional quality originates from the Pacific — and it deserves to be recognised widely.

Congratulations to the Vanuatu High Commission and the team who organised last year's 83 Islands tasting event. That occasion created wonderful additional exposure for 83 Islands and helped bring the product to a broader audience in exactly the right way.

Kudos also to Charles Broad (NZ Convenor -Pacific Exporters Network) and Fraser Carson (NZ Convenor - Blue Forum) for creating further visibility around Vanuatu and the wonderful products on offer from that region.

Blue Star was honoured to produce these boxes, inserts and sleeves — a fitting conclusion to the many hours of dedication and craft invested by Pierre – Luc Chabot and the 83 Islands team, the graphic designers, the Vanuatu High Commission, and the personal support of the then High Commissioner HE Jimmy Nipo and Mr. Calvin Isaac, crowning what are world class distilled products by Pierre-Luc and his team at 83 Islands.

Warm congratulations to everyone involved.
